Summary
To identify, develop and implement strategic communications campaigns for key target audiences of BMHC. Develops new as well as existing campaigns for the system to achieve efficiencies and consistency for system marketing initiatives. Assists the System Director of Corporate Communications by managing marketing programs for BMHC's entities. Under the supervision of the System Director of Corporate Communications. Responsible for 1 shift, 8 hours/day, 5 days/week. Incumbents are subject to overtime and callback as required by BMHCC..
Responsibilities
Principal Accountabilities/Responsibilities:
1.Serve as marketing manager for system marketing projects as assigned. (i.e. service lines, hospitals, Baptist University, BMHC Foundation, etc.)
2.Works through health services research and outside sources to identify key target audiences, determines their needs and characteristics and develops appropriate campaigns to meet those needs.
3.Develops working relationships with entity marketing directors in order to identify and implement strategic communication campaigns on a system wide basis.
4.Manages selected vendors for group purchasing to achieve economies for BMHC
5.Uses appropriate internal and external production resources to develop materials for assigned marketing projects.
6.Supervises marketing staff and performs required performance evaluations.
7.Assists System Director of Corporate Communications with day-to-day duties and responsibilities as required or directed.
8.Monitors marketing initiatives/programs at other health care organizations and determines applicability/appropriateness to BMHC.

Requirements, Preferences and Experience
Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field and a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field required. Master's degree in marketing or a related field, and 7 years of experience is preferred.
