Location/Division Specific InformationAs our Brisbane site continues to grow, we are excited to open the role of Manufacturing Compliance Support (MCS) Manager.
About the role:
This position has become available due to internal movement, and it is essential to support the balanced growth of our Operations group. In this role, you will have the opportunity to showcase your leadership strengths, guiding your team through the next phase of our evolution. Your focus will be on developing our operational systems and capabilities to achieve future growth.
What You'll do:Lead with Collaboration: Guide the MCS team to support the Operations group by working closely with all partners to ensure we elevate compliance standards.Mentor and Develop: Foster growth and development of talent within the MCS team, focusing on mentorship to build a strong talent pool.Identify and resolve challenges independently, improving key performance indicators like Right the First Time and On Time Delivery.Quality Partnership: Work with the Quality Department to manage the lifecycle of quality documents and records. Collaborate with global and local compliance groups to develop high standards at the Brisbane site.Adherence to Standards: Ensure compliance with Patheon cGMP Quality Management System and Patheon EH&S requirements.Help team SMEs troubleshoot and transfer new technologies and equipment. Provide comprehensive training to co-workers, including approving on-the-job training.Keys to Success:EducationTertiary education in a science or engineering-based field (e.g., biopharmaceutical manufacture, biotechnology, process technology).Knowledge, Skills, Experience:5-7 years' leadership experience in a Biopharmaceutical GMP manufacturing environment.Science experience in the pharmaceutical industry required, specifically in Biologics processing and compliance management. Must have knowledge of GMP/GLP regulations in a cGMP/cGLP manufacturing environment. A strong background in Quality Assurance is preferred.Leadership Excellence: Demonstrated strong leadership skills to build and lead effective teams.Organizational Skills: Strong organizational, scheduling, and planning abilities.Independence: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Communication and Flexibility: Excellent collaboration skills, with flexibility, reliability, and assertiveness.Responsibility and Proactivity: A responsible and proactive approach, ready to take initiative and drive improvements.Benefits:Join our team and take advantage of these great benefits!
