In this role you will be responsible for efficient functioning of the Genpact office building. All aspects related to management of personnel and nuances of a multitasked and multi profiled teamwork and its implied requirements
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Must have reasonable knowledge of human behavior and efficient human resource management.
• Must have a working knowledge of handling budgets and aspects of financial managements to regulate and monitor expenditures and drive cost efficiency by efficient management.
• Be able to carry out monthly planning, provisioning/de provisioning, receiving etc as per laid down procedures.
• Should be able to coordinate activities related to repair and maintenance in consultation with engineering lead. This will necessitate understanding of all its components ie high side and soft services related.
• Should be able to ensure that the efficiency of the building is maintained at all levels and therefore devise methods and procedures for optimal utilization of resources at disposal. Be always available as required for the task.
• Maintain required liaison with local authorities on all security and law and order related issues.
• Possess sufficient knowledge and initiative for handling crises management situations, where required be able to solicit and incorporate aid from external agencies, government/nongovernmental under directions from Site Logistics Leader.
• Should be able to efficiently handle various audits such as ISO, ISAE etc as required for numerous client compliances, mandatory regulations etc.
• Possess working knowledge in official rules, regulations, and dealings with government offices.
• Possess functional knowledge of the issues related to various notification/regulations etc. related to Employee Health and Safety.
• Be conversant with relevant procedures related to dealing with vendors and ensure deliverance of desired services as per SLAs. The adherence of the vendor to required statuary norms of Labor Office be ensured by regular checks and audits.
• Ensure that all employees of the /on role/off role/third party are compliant in terms of BGC, formal clearances from security point of view.
• Should be able to prepare reports, update, and collate relevant data and inputs as would be required from time-to-time foe higher decision making and analytical purposes. Also provide own inputs and suggest options as pertaining to respective building.
• Should be able to understand, monitor, modify and implement policies and procedures as relevant to the functioning and enunciated by the organization.
• Interact and interface with clients, senior leaderships as and when required.
• Should be able to connect with all employees and leaders in the premises and provide redressal and solutions within acceptable time and resources.
• Efficiently manage ground staff and their functioning through the various junior leaders like supervisors in chain.
• Efficient management of equipment stores, their upkeep maintenance, disposal, AMC, scrap etc as per established guidelines.
• Be thorough with all aspect of SLA implementation and nuances of deriving desired deliverable from third party and sub vendors.
• At all times ensure at all costs, highest standards to integrity, propriety and adherence of conduct as defined by Genpact Standards.
• When required represent the Site Logistics Lead in his absence in all required charter.
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum Qualifications
o Minimum Graduate from a reputed institute with relevant years of experience in field of multi discipline assignment related to infra and logistics management in Corporate/Government environment. Hotel Management graduates will be preferred.
o Preferably should have some knowledge and experience in dealing with Government department and civic authorities and related procedures and guidelines.
o Proven ability in planning, track record for improving process efficiencies and solving problems.
o Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple projects.
PREFERRED SKILLS
o Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, and internal personal skills.
o Strong leadership skills with an ability to motivate team.
o Reasonable expertise in MS OFFICE and MIS preparation power point and MS excel.
o Prior exposure to a team management role, preferably should have around releavnt years of team management experience.
