Your New Role...
The Manager Local Productions is responsible for supporting the VP Original Production (VP) in all administrative and coordination tasks within acquisition, development, production and post-production of local acquisitions and co-productions as well as actively handling of fiction, documentary and unscripted projects for MAX in consultation with the VP.
Your Role Accountabilities...
Reviewing, pre-reading, evaluating and pre-selecting incoming scripts and projects
Help bringing together all the necessary elements for greenlight presentations and internal communication
Responsible project management: working closely with producers, writers and directors on creative material, casting, editorial, post-production
Close collaboration with relevant GAS and international MAX partners, especially in the PR and marketing departments, drafting and reviewing relevant materials and plans
Project Management: Development / Pre-production / Production / Post-productionWork with VP to keep an overview in all phases of production: development, pre-production, shooting, post-production and delivery and ensuring MAX production values
Active coordination and communication for ongoing projects with internal and external contact persons
Give details written notes on all creative materials, dailies and cuts to VP and external partners
Suggest, evaluate and select project HODs and overview casting progress
Collaborating with WBD/MAX Operations department on the technical aspects of the Production/Deliverables such as technical platforms, requirements and formats
Maintaining an overview of the post-production workflow to ensure it is working smoothly and that any potential problems are highlighted well in advance
Attendance of relevant industry events and production ceremonies
Taking care of talent relationships within the handling of the relevant projects
CorporateCollaborate with WBD/MAX Departments such as Local PR and Marketing, Social Media and Creative Services as requested
Working with VP on planning, development, production and delivery strategy
Contact for productions in relation to CSR and representation efforts
General TasksGeneral administrative duties within the handling of local productions
Managing and archiving incoming print and electronic local production material
Co-ordination of shipments and adherence to WB security guidelines
Qualifications & Experience...
MA or similar Education
Excellent Knowledge of the film market and local film scenario and local production environment
Experience in the entertainment industry, especially in PR and communications functions
Highly skilled in fulfilling production and content tasks and confident in working with creative talent
Focus on practicability and efficiency
Highly organized, accurate & reliable
Excellent in English, written and spoken, presentation skills
Team player
