We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual to fill the position ofManager Lease and Contracts within ourLand Administration group based in Houston, TX or The Woodlands, TX.
Lease and Contracts Manager oversees and manages the Land Payment, Master Data and Owner Relations functions within the Land Administration Team. This individual supervises and facilitates the monthly land payment process to ensure payments are made accurately and on time. In addition, they will manage the Land Administration Owner Relation and Master Data teams to ensure inquiries are answered timely, accurately and professionally.
Essential Functions:
Manage a team of employees Participates in developing processes to identify and rectify/mitigate risks associated with land payments. Participates in developing processes to identify and rectify/mitigate risks associated with owner accounts. Leads and works with other departments on projects including acquisitions and divestitures.Assists with litigation issues as requested.Leads discussions on process improvements within the department and makes recommendations to management.Ensures that legal, procedural, and operational considerations are accurately incorporated on a project Conducts extensive analysis and interpretation of land payments. Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field.A minimum of 10 years’ experience.Begins to exhibit leadership qualities.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and willing to learn other computer applications.Strong interpersonal and communication skills – both written and verbal.Knowledge of Quorum Land System/SAP experience a plus.Ability to work under deadlines and sometimes on multiple projects.Handle confidential and proprietary company data and information.Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.Knowledge of basic land principles and their application with the ability to analyze land data for the entry into the land data management system.
