The Role:

MRI Software is seeking a Manager of IT Cloud Operations to join our team in Solon Ohio! This individual will be part of a Global leadership team responsible for leading the daily functions of the IT Cloud Operations teams with direct leadership for all North America based Cloud Operations and Systems engineering team member.

Regional Leadership responsibilities for North America based team members, and part of the Global IT Organizations leadership teamEngaging with various IT leaders as well as Product Development groups to build and support complete solutions and implement new servicesWorking with the latest cloud and data center technologies, and with providers themselves to create and support solutions for the MRI products and services, and staffWork to enhance MRI’s IT Cloud Operations capabilities, drive adoption, and improve operational processes

You Will:

Build a high performing team through staff development, recruiting, and retention to support growing business needsDirect management responsibilities for in region IT Cloud Operation team members. Work with the global IT leadership to ensure commonality of approach to recruitment, resource management and staff developmentManaging cloud infrastructure and applications to ensure high availability and performance.Monitoring and troubleshooting issues that impact cloud services, including network connectivity and security.Collaborating with developers and other teams to design and deploy cloud solutions that meet business requirements.Evaluating and recommending innovative technologies and solutions to optimize cloud infrastructure and operations.Monitoring and analyzing system performance and usage to identify areas for improvement and optimization.Prioritize work tasks and projects to ensure business priorities are metEnsure security is the cornerstone of the designs, services, and implementations

You Have:

Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of related experience5 years minimum experience of leading/managing a team of 10+ membersLeadership: Demonstrated ability to inspire a team to achieve remarkable thingsExecution: Demonstrated ability to take concrete actions to deliver and inspirePolished skills in communication, leadership, planning, motivation, coaching and cross team collaborationExperience deploying and supporting Microsoft Azure systems, services, and cloud native capabilitiesExperience in DevOps/Cloud automation and scripting (such as Terraform and Ansible) as well as working to ensure security configurations and processes are utilized, identifying risks, and ensuring compliance with recognized standardsExperience and working knowledge with hypervisors, virtualization technologies and networking skillsCollaborator with Problem Solving, ‘Can-do’ Mindset and a client centric focusUnderstanding of the SDLC, Software and Database Deployment Methods, and Application Security Scanning Tools a plusWorking experience of network devices, physical and virtualized environments and monitoring tools and techniques.Experience with MS Office 365 and other business SaaS offerings a plus
