This position is responsible for managing the strategy, design, configuration and execution of major software application initiatives across the IT technology landscape.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIESDesign, configure, validate and present software solutions, including advanced technology concepts, future direction and industry solutions (WMS, TMS, Omni-Channel, CRM, SFA and PIM)Share responsibility for the development and execution of the multi-year IT Roadmap and technology strategy with the management teamExplain technical issues to a variety of audiences, including key business managers and experienced software developersBuild relationships with store operations, business department managers and key executivesMaintain product consistency throughout the systems life cycle to include the requirements, design and construction phases through quality checkpoints and reviewsDrive requirements and design using retail experience, interviews, document analysis, requirements, workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis – leverage past retail experienceDevelop and maintain strong teaming relationship with other members of the company to leverage application, process and technology expertiseProvide effective communication regarding issues, objectives, initiatives and performance to planMentor and enhance the skills of the service management, business intelligence and development resources
MINIMUM ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTSBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems preferred (Relevant work experience can be substituted for the required education on the basis of one calendar year of experience for one academic year of education)Ten years of relevant retail experience required or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the companyAbility to multi-task, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong computer skills including Microsoft Office SuiteExcellent organizational and problem solving skills

PHYSICAL/SENSORY REQUIREMENTS
Sedentary Work – Ability to exert 10 - 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
