Northrop Grumman Defense Systems Sector (NGDS) is currently seeking a level 1 Security Manager to join our team in Elkton, MD
Responsibilities:
Develops, and administers security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipmentStudies and implements federal security regulations that apply to company operationsObtains rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agenciesPrepares manuals outlining regulations, and establishes procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitors access to restricted records and materialsConducts security education classes and security auditsInvestigates security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be takenLead Northrop Grumman, Elkton Site Security Team supporting customer success and compliancePlant Protection Coordination between guard service company and site securityAA&E and Explosive oversightWorking with site management for growth needs (construction, PERSEC, COMSEC, Facility needs, etc.)Shares duty with Facility Security Officer to manage Physical Security Conditions of Entry/access controls. Manage and leads Plant Protection operations, manages Emergency Response, manages Incident Command for Fire, Medical response on an energetic facility in compliance with emergency actions plans.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree 6 years of related security experience with a, related direct experience can be substituted for educationExperience with Special Access Programs serving as CPSOExperience with ICD705 Space Construction & AccreditationsExperience as Acting FSO/AFSOFSO CertifiedSAP/DOD Certifications and Industrial Security expertise preferredActive DoD SECRET Clearance with ability to obtain Top SecretExperience working on energetic manufacturing facilityStrong interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to interact with internal/external customersComprehensive knowledge of the National Industrial Security Program (NISPOM)Preferred Qualifications:
Active TOP SECRET ClearanceAbility to work in a team environment with minimal oversightExperience writing basis of estimates and managing budgetsPhysical Security experience, Plant Protection operations experienceExperience with COMSEC managementExpertise with ICD 705 construction and accreditation processes, ICD 705 CertifiedExpertise of VIPER phones and DSWAN operation.Experience providing Emergency Services in Industrial, Secure Environment Salary Range: $102,400.00 - $153,600.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
