In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Manage the complete lifecycle of US federal and state income tax compliance, including review of subsidiary proforma and consolidated federal income tax returns, calculation of estimated tax payments, and review and reconciliation of ASC740 income tax accrual to tax return adjustments. Coordinate, manage, and/or provide assistance with tax planning and controversy matters related to US federal and state income tax. Supervise complex tax compliance and consulting projects, including evaluating the impact of new or emerging tax laws. Supervise employees and/or service providers who assist with various components of the federal and state income tax liability calculations. Assist in preparation of estimated federal and state income tax payment calculations and cash flow forecasting. Assist in preparation of the tax provision pursuant to ASC 740 which may include review of specific business unit provisions and providing quarterly tax journal entries. Assist with the assimilation of acquired companies into the consolidated federal income tax return and evaluate for differences in accounting methods. Review and analyze state tax nexus implications of payroll and on-site service work performed by various US subsidiaries. Provide day-to-day guidance to finance personnel regarding income tax matters. Provide leadership, mentoring, and career guidance for development of less experienced colleagues. Perform ad hoc analysis of tax issues to support management inquires, as requested. Find opportunities for automation, efficiency, and improvements in tax processes. Required travel is less than 5%. For This Role, You Will Need: Bachelor’s or Masters of Science in Accounting or Tax Authorized to work in the United States without any sponsorship now and in the future.
