Manager I, Proposal Management
POSITION PROFILE
Drives Ricoh sales revenue by managing the Request for Proposals/Requests for Qualifications (RFP/RFQ) process for large Commercial and SLG bids. Creates and/or formats RFP responses, coordinating content from multiple sources as required by the RFP, and ensuring on-time delivery of completed proposals with appropriate reservations required by Legal. Additionally includes project management of the RFP response, identifying and scheduling subject matter experts (SMEs) to provide input on schedule, and working with sales to create and properly present sales strategies that can be supported by all applicable Ricoh resources.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs creative business writing of RFP responses as needed Reviews documentation to identify legal / business issues to be addressed Reviews price-related requirements to communicate to pricing team Creates customized document templates for use on RFP responses Researches and validates data for inclusion in proposals Prepares questions for customer to clarify questionable sections of RFP Engages with Product Marketing to confirm technical specifications, and provide trending information for new requirements Manages and supports Level 1 RFP opportunities, including establishing project plans and schedules, collaborating with sales to develop proposed solution and editing input from SME's to ensure a single voice in proposal Tracks, reports and presents activity and trend data from RFP requests and responses Researches data and updates for proposal database content Creates and modifies response templates, including graphic covers, in line with company standards Other duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience and Certifications)

6+ years in proposal and bid experience 3+ years industry experience 2+ years Sales / Sales Support experience Creative business writing experience 4-year degree preferredKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
