Job Description **Manager: Global Engineering Systems – PLM focus** If you are a **PLM** experienced professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Copeland has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in our **Sidney, Ohio** location, you will provide Product Life Cycle Management system guidance and support to leaders and employees working within the HVACR Technologies shared functions (IT, Finance, Marketing, Research, Procurement, Advanced Manufacturing Engineering, etc.). Your duties and responsibilities will be completed under the general guidance of the Global Engineering Systems Director for HVACR Technologies. You will exercise independent judgment and decision-making within the scope of this job. **As A Product Lifecycle System Manager, YOU WILL:** + Conceptualize and plan business solutions within the Teamcenter PLM ecosystem by applying technologies, process engineering, and cross-functional teamwork. + Design and Implement PLM practices for effective product design, including change management, manufacturing, and supply chain integration. + Manage design systems and processes to support global engineering teams with CAD, BOM, and product data. Identify and deploy technologies such as BI, ML, ERP, and low-code solutions. + Ensure high-quality departmental deliverables and continuous improvement, especially where Teamcenter is only part of a larger solution. + Drive projects and internal processes to fulfill KPI’s that drive operational excellence. + Partner & collaborate with Information Technology to ensure conformance with all IT policies, practices, and strategic initiatives. + Develop team talent and organizational capacity to support the business needs and evolving technical landscape. + Organizational & career planning, mentoring, and talent management to develop talent pipeline and cultivate diversity that maximizes employee experiences. **REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:** + Bachelor's degree: Engineering IT, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or related field plus a minimum of five (5) years of progressive related Engineering and/or PLM experience, including some leadership, or an equivalent combination of education and experience that brings the required skills to the position. + Strong verbal and written communication skills and professional presentation skills + Ability to work effectively with various levels within and across the organization. + Exceptional customer service focus, including attention to producing quality results. -motivated with the ability to work independently and on a team. + Legal authorization to work in the United States – Sponsorship will not be provided for this role. **PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:** + Ten (10) years of progressive PLM system-related experience, including five (5) years of leadership experience. + Working experience in PLM, design engineering, process development and strategic thinking + Travel potential <10% **Flexible Work Schedule - Remote Work Option and Core Hours:** This role has the flexibility of a remote work option up to three days a week and a core hour schedule. You can choose to flex your start and stop times given you are working during the core hours of 9:00am - 3:00pm.
