Purpose:

This newly created position will support our Global Customs Teams with customs data management. The Manager will implement systems and processes to support and consolidate country level data. This position will be the point of contact for data queries from regional based Customs Teams (excluding US and EU).

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with Customs Teams globally to review market-specific IT information requirements, finding solutions to provide the necessary information. Liaising with Tech teams to provide customs declaration data, including elements such as tariff codes, valuation and Free Trade Agreement. Create and maintain a centralized database for market-specific data. Analyze customs data to identify duty optimization possibilities and potential risks. Support Market Customs Teams to standardize processes and explore automation possibilities. Assist Market Customs Teams with system access requests and provide training on adidas systems. Support Market Customs Teams with the system onboarding of new brokers and consultants. Prepare system and process manuals to create transparency for the Market Customs Teams. Consult on customs topics in supply chain projects and support system enhancements from a customs perspective.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Knowledge of Customs Regulations System design and implementation experience Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively at all organizational levels Strong analytical and conceptual skills Self-motivated with ability to work independently Experience in project planning and management

Requisite Education and Experience:

5+ years of experience in customs operations or a similar area (preferably in the Textile or Footwear industry) Basic experience with ERP / Customs systems Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel Excellent English Language skills – written and spoken
