JOB TITLE

JOB SUMMARY
 As a member of the Fulfillment management team, manages warehouse staff responsible for the fulfillment of customer orders.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Leads staff in the daily activities of warehouse and order fulfillment operations
Oversees the picking, storage, and handling of textiles materials 
Manages the shipping, receving and freight departments for quality and accurate packaging, and documentation for outbound shipments


Manages textile cutting operations, to produce accurate, quality materials to customer requirements


Process and reconcile invoices from carriers and warehouse equipment repairs


Conduct meetings with staff as necessary


Ability to negotiate discounts with common carriers, freight brokers, and for general supplies


Ensure order commitments are achieved daily for customer deliveries


Responsible for inventory management, through training and properly handling of all inventory within the facility


Sets an example to team members, in exceptional customer service when dealing with all internal and external customers


Conducts interviews as necessary, with ability to hire staff for various warehouse functional requirements


Guides team by work assignments, through Dashboards, emails, other internal systems, and direct communications


Directly responsible for employee safety, while working with site and corporate EHS teams for employee and facility guidelines


In coordination with other managers, facilities, and site EHS, maintains a clean, safe working environment


Responsible for employee shift assignments, overtime (as needed), time approvals, and PTO approvals and coordination. 


Responsible for the maintenance, safety, and training, of all warehouse equipment 


Mentors, trains, praises and reprimands, as necessary  

MAGNITUDE AND RELATIONSHIP REPORTING
This position reports to the Sr. Director, Fulfillment

CONTACTS INSIDE AND OUTSIDE THE ORGANIZATION
This position has contact with all internal employees (all levels), carrier representatives, and drivers.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Well organized
Technical knowledge of domestic and international shipping
Good communication skills, both verbal and written
Working knowledge of applicable OSHA requirements
Leadership skills and ability to maintain a team environment
Forklift certified
Knowledge of MS Office including outlook, excel and word

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
HS diploma required, college degree or equivalent preferred
5 Years warehouse management experience
