Global Diageo Business Services (GDBS) is a global multi-functional Enterprise Operations entity that supports different parts of Diageo businesses across the World.
Diageo Business Service India (DBSI) is a Diageo Business Shared Services Centre (BSS) servicing the Diageo Africa, APAC, Europe, America & South America markets. Processes in scope at DBSI are: Financial Planning & Reporting, Finance Controlling, Source to Pay, Sell to Cash, Human Resource, Master Data Management & Analytics, Application & Technology Support etc.
Diageo also has other BSS and BSS partners that support service provision. The DBSI works closely with other GDBS Centres and markets across the Globe.
Dimensions
The FP&A Manager is an individual contributor involved in extensive financial analytics and bringing insight to the data from different business dimensions, as required on time to time basis. The FP&A Manager may also need to manage a team provide functional leadership guidance & support to achieve required business objectives.
Regular engagement with FP&A Directors, Commercial Finance Director, SVP and CFO and other Senior Leaders of the organization will be an integral part of this role.
Market Complexity:
The FP&A Finance team is responsible for supporting the Regional Diageo businesses, including Spirits, Wine, Beer, Supply and Corporate functions. FP&A liaises with the various business finance and management teams to prepare our annual operating plan as well as forecasts through-out the fiscal year.
Purpose of Role:
Business Performance Management (BPM) for Diageo is the holistic/ E2E process that incorporates and leverages all functions to deliver our ambition. This includes our Commercial / sales teams, Supply, Marketing, Net Revenue Management/ Pricing, HR and Finance.
The purpose of this FP&A role is to support delivery of the BPM reporting agenda for different regions.
You will be expected to lead the conversations with the markets across a number of areas. You will work with a variety of senior collaborators and their teams in market/function to find opportunities to drive business outcomes.
You would be responsible for generating insightful analytical reports and recommendations to further enhance performance and/ or risks to performanceSupporting the respective BPM cycle owner with the production of all reports (standard & non-standard) aligned to each unit(s).Provide ad-hoc reporting & decision support for the business units as requiredBehavioural Skills (Soft Skills)

Play a key role in the preparation and submission of Annual Operating Plan and Strategic Plan including supporting the OH planning, COGS Standard Reset process and overall consolidation.Responsible for producing decks for communication of management information to Exec & other senior mgmt.Act as FP&A collaborate with a businessAbility to create complex excel financial modelAbility to calculate VPMC, Brand Mix analysisAbility to work on NSV Bridge and GM% BridgeAct as the contact point for Investor Relations and GroupDeliver monthly management reporting processes (WD5 scorecards, brand performance summaries)Provide accurate, thorough and timely analysis as needs are identified or requested. Rapid and accurate turn-around required for ad hoc queries.Develop a good working relationship with Regional Finance, Businesses, DBSC and Brand teams in order to conduct business matters smoothly as well as make improvements in business processes where applicable.Have an excellent understanding of BW, SAP and Micro-strategy, PowerBI solution with the ability to think broadly when a system related challenge occurs and extract data in a way that supports decision makingBe resident system expert in finance (BFC, BPM, Oneplan, VA)Qualifications and Experience Required:
Education/Work Experience
CA/CMA/MBA (Tier 2 schools), bachelor’s in finance/Marketing/Business Required8-10 years of experience in handling FP&A, Commercial FinanceLanguage skills
Good Business English, able to communicate effectivelyFunctional Skills
Superior analytical and planning skills.Strong FP&A background, good understand of financial foundations (P&L and Cash flow)Strong and extensive Excel, Power Point and broad business knowledge. Superior PC modeling skills.Strong understanding of financial systems, data processing and advanced analyticsExcellent written and oral communication skills.Strong strategic ability to understand / craft the story for DNA performance.Ability to work cross-functionally.Strong organizational skills to plan and complete projectsShift:
