Description
Lead a team of software architects, software developers and software project managers to design and implement software solutions for Body Controls. Responsible for meeting program deliverables and launching of software solutions for Body Controls features and functions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams both internal and external to Ford to ensure effective software integration. Work with Body engineering teams to identify and develop new software control strategies to support feature development. Manage software system release process. Drive effective agile software development practices within the team and ensure agile tools are utilized effectively. Lead all Dev Ops and CI/CD operations to support the Body Control Modules.
Basic Qualifications:
BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or or a combination of equivalent experience and education. 10+ years of experience developing software for embedded systems. Experience leading a team with proven collaboration with internal & external groups. Ability to attract, retain and motivate a high performing team. Experience working within an Agile software development framework. Experience with Automated Testing, CI/CD and DevOps. Experience with software quality processes and methods. Understanding of Body hardware components, design functions and control strategies. Knowledge of core Body vehicle systems.
