Manager EHS and Construction Safety
Site Name: India - Maharashtra - Nashik Site Posted Date: May 13 2025 Key Responsibilities Ensure site has EHS Policy, risk management and EHS control framework that are developed, documented, implemented, maintained, and improved and that resources are allocated for that purpose. Ensure site has adequate operational control procedures to manage EHS risks associated with its activities, operations, and expansion projects. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and GSK compliance expectations relating to EHS. Ensure site has suitable emergency management programme in place which is subjected to periodic testing. Ensure networking, knowledge sharing, and benchmarking activities being carried for EHS good practices. Ensure GPS deployed in EHS function and is integral part of ways of working. Contribute to the development of Site EHS strategies & plans. Responsible for developing EHS performance review framework and ensure the EHS performance is reviewed on periodic basis, which helps site leadership team take sound decisions to improve EHS performance at site. Drive EHS Engagement programs/celebrations – National safety week, Fire service week, Environmental week Support site in deployment of Safety Leadership Experience (SLE) program. Support site to ensure EHS IBM related CAPA are governed and closed appropriately. Ensure Global EHS Dashboards like EHS One for ZAPs, Incidents, Safety Leadership Experience (SLE) Gemba are updated periodically. Support EHS function by performing gap assessment of Global EHS standards. Develop and implement site EHS engagement programs. Support EHS function by conducting ZAP (Zero Accident Promotion), its analysis, incident investigation analysis & develop programme for continual improvement. Participate & ensure accident investigations are carried out in accordance with GSK standards. Support in Life Saving Rules (LSR) deployment at site. Conduct GEMBA, Management Monitoring (L1) & Self Inspection (L2) audits to check the effectiveness of management system & provide feedback to stakeholders. Coordinate for EHS related budgeting related activities. Support EHS function in preparing & compiling monthly EHS Council & annual Management Review Meeting. Develop EHS training Calander annually and ensure delivery of the same. Construction Safety Technical Authority (CSTA) - accountable for defining the prevention and control strategy for managing construction risks, and for ensuring compliance with applicable GSK standards and conformance to relevant local legislation.
