Manager EHS
The Manager EHS is responsible for implementing, overseeing, and adapting policies and programs to improve the organization’s environmental and safety performance. The Manager EHS ensures the organization complies with current and future internal and external regulations and standards and protects its reputation.   Monitor EHS performance, identify risks, areas of improvement, conduct and manage EHS audits and on-site inspections to identify EHS workplace hazards.   Manage investigation of EHS incidents, prepare reports and recommendations, implement waste management programs, develop and drive EHS trainings , manage relationships with community of EHS stakeholders.   Research, evaluate and recommend changes to improve EHS performance.   Provide expertise and advice on EHS issues to area managers and plant managers.   Eliminate the risk of occupational injury and illness, and environmental non-compliance in a manufacturing environment. Implementation of EHS systems according to norms ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and OHSAS.  Maintain relationships with the community, EHS groups, or other stakeholders impacted by the EHS performance of the organization.   Coordinate compliance audits, inspections, including insurance inspections.  Ensure all new equipment meets all legal and YF requirements.   Manage the plant’s occupational health provider.   Set the standard and cultivatethe EHS culture in the plant.

Required Education

Bacehlor's Level Degree in EHS or related field

Required Qualifications

​​3-5​ Minimum Years of Experience in EHS.  ​​1-3 Minimum Years of Experience within the automotive industry preferred. Must be able and willing to travel and work at customer sites, including industrial manufacturing plants which might require climbing, lifting, or working in confined spaces.  Experience of a minimum of two years in managing regulatory compliance in OSHA, worker’s compensation, manufacturing health and safetytraining, environmental and ergonomics.   ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, ISO 45001 requirements including internal and external customers such as OE and NGO requirements; trainingand record keeping requirements, ISO documentation requirements and formats.
