It is a moral and ethical imperative central to the organization's mission and long-term success. This role reflects our deep commitment to DREI across the pillars of The People We Serve, Our Programs and The Culture of the Organization. This role is responsible for communicating, implementing and maintaining AgeOptions' DREI efforts and will work in collaboration with AgeOptions' Leadership, Human Resources and Employees in implementing pragmatic and transformational DREI initiatives, policies and practices both internally in our organization and externally for our programs and the communities we serve. Some of the Specifics: + Support and align the Board DREI Committee’s, the Advisory Council DREI Committee’s and the staff committee’s efforts and initiatives. Measure progress on initiatives, cascade messaging and provide input on strategic plan of DREI efforts. Work with Human Resources on identifying and planning DREI training for employees and managers. Assist agency leadership in creating agencywide, data informed racial equity plan. Monitor performance and progress measures toward equity goals and outcomes. Highlight key findings, areas of concern and progress toward goals. + Provide leadership support and guide direction for the agency’s programs and initiatives. Support strategies to advance DREI across our network of partners. Ensuring grantees’ diversity efforts support AgeOptions efforts, provide technical assistance to grantees and funded partners, work with marketing and outreach teams to reach diverse populations. + Work with Leadership, Human Resources, and employee led resource groups to promote a diverse and inclusive workplace culture. + Serves as a resource to agency staff and managers to raise and discuss concerns related to DREI issues. Work with managers and Human Resources to facilitate resolution of conflicts + Make recommendations that promote and advance participation and access to resources in under resourced communities. + Develop communication strategies that identify needs, remove barriers and increase access to services, resources and opportunities for the most impacted communities across the state. + Develop and implement metrics and reporting tools to identify trends to measure progress and effectiveness of AgeOptions’ diversity and inclusion strategy. Regularly evaluates the effectiveness of initiatives, tracks key performance indicators and adjusts strategies to ensure continuous improvement and tangible results. + Lead and manage DREI projects from conception through completion, ensuring timely and effective execution and collaboration across function to manage project timelines, budgets and execution. Implement programs and initiatives that support the diversity, equity and inclusion strategies aligned to AgeOptions’ strategies and goals. Required Experience: Who are we Looking for? Someone with: + Bachelor's or graduate level degree in a relevant is preferred. Currently have or agree to acquire certifications in Diversity and Inclusion + Minimum of 3 years of experience in diversity and inclusion, human resources and project management roles or activities + At least 1 year of coaching or experience providing feedback + Successful track record of managing and implementing diversity and inclusion programs + Strong project management skills Key Competencies for Success: + Passion for and commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion + High level of active listening, empathy and sound judgement + Able to synthesize information and inclusively communicate at all levels. + Cross cultural experience to work effectively within diverse groups and communities + Detail oriented with strong organizational skills + Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines + High Emotional and Cultural Intelligence is essential Keyword: Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, DEI, From: AgeOptions
