Position Summary

To be a team lead and senior analyst who can work on multiple project streams for a client and applies Analytics for better business decision making especially in the area of Pharma (domain).

Job Responsibilities Leadership – Lead & guide the team independently or with little support to implement & deliver complex project assignments.   Logical Thinking – Able to think analytically, use a systematic and logical approach to analyze data, problems, and situations. Must be able to guide team members in analysis.   Project & Process Management –   Get accurate briefs from the Client and translate into tasks for team members with priorities and timeline plans.   Must maintain high standards of quality and thoroughness. Should be able to monitor accuracy and quality of others' work.   Ability to think in advance about potential risks and mitigation plans.   Ideate, implement, adhere, and monitor quality processes essential for delivery excellence.   People Management   Provide leadership to help people perform at their best, through motivating and developing them to achieve high performance.   Provide structure, direction, and purpose to your team through effective communication/regular meetings   Provide clear guidance, instruction, advice or coaching for the job. Be accessible. Where appropriate, aim for inclusivity - enabling staff to input ideas, and consulting on change and development.   Use the performance management process as a valuable tool for supporting employee development and improvement.  Handle Client Relationship – Manage client relationships and client expectations independently. Should be able to deliver results back to the Client independently. Should have excellent communication skills.   Effectively manage the client/ onshore stakeholders, as per the business needs, to ensure successful business delivery.  Work closely with the project manager to define the algorithm, break down the problem into execution steps, and run the analysis  Ensure high-quality analytics solutions/reports to the client  Delivery role will include project scoping, solution design, execution and communication of the analysis in the client-ready formats  Contribute towards Axtria tools and capabilities as per the business requirements.  Build organization capabilities by participating in Hackathon, solution design, and process automation  Effectively communicate with onshore/ client (as per business needs)  Education BE/B.TechWork Experience Overall, 7-10 years of rich experience in the Pharmaceutical / Life Sciences Domain.   5+ years of good hands-on experience in Market Mix Modeling / Promotion Response Modeling using Python or R as the main programming language.  Strong proficiency in building/training machine learning models and their deployment  Proficiency in Statistical and Probabilistic methods such as SVM, Decision-Trees, Bagging and Boosting Techniques, Clustering  Hands-on experience in Python data science and math packages such as NumPy, Pandas, Sklearn, Seaborne, Pycaret, Matplotlib  Should have an attitude of willingness to learn, accept the challenging environment, and have confidence in delivering the results within timelines. Should be inclined towards self-motivation and self-driven to find solutions to problems.  Experience in application of machine learning algorithms (classification, regression, etc.)  Behavioral Competency  Excellent communication skills (must be able to interface with both technical and business leaders in the organization)  Strong analytical skills to solve and model complex business requirements are a plus  Logical Thinking – Able to think analytically, use a systematic and logical approach to analyze data, problems, and situations. Notices discrepancies and inconsistencies in information and materials.  Task Management – Basic level of task management knowledge and experience.
