Position Summary

Responsible for the delivery of Product\Process training to customers.  Manage, coordinate, and implement customer training classes.  Maintain cost and schedule controls for training programs. Manage logistics (resources, scheduling, registration, marketing) of training classes. Provide support for sales and marketing activities. Assess/ prioritize training development needs.  Provide direct support to training development, guiding development and coordinating with internal and external subject-matter-experts in the development and evolution of ITT IP’s training offering.

 

Measures:

* Grow IP customer training into a $1M business over 3 years with profitability to cover\exceed all operational cost.

* Establish partnerships with educational institutions to support accreditation\ validation of customer training programs

 

Up to 30% domestic\international travel required.

Essential Responsibilities Deliver customer training programsManage logistics of customer training classesManage training delivery business (targets, margins, resources) & support sale and marketing of training programsDevelop and continuously improve training offeringCoach/mentor/develop resources within IP and with partnersExpand\develop ITT IP internal and customer training programs to support meeting revenue and margin targets.revenue and margin targets.Support development and continuous improvement of ITT IP product training offerings including in person and on-line\independent learning training modules.Partner with product management, sales, marketing, customer support, commercial excellence, and engineering teams to develop and execute training content.Deliver world-class training courses for ITT Goulds Pumps product, markets, technology and selling skills to both ITT direct\indirect sale and internal functional personnel. Ensure alignment, consistency, and brand messaging supports our customer value proposition and market competitiveness overviews.  Develop, produce, and present training courses, materials, and hands-on training experiences to include installation, servicing and troubleshooting topics to large customer audiences ranging from 25-50+ people. Manage logistics of delivering customer training classes both on\off-site.Maintain, prepare, and make continuous improvements to the classroom setup including the care for equipment and other tools.Make field visits as required to help assist with product issues, customer issues and/or to support training developmentDevelop and maintain “train-the-trainer” assessments\audits and training\coaching programs to ensure training quality and professionalism. Position Requirements

Education: B.S. Engr/Mktg. MBA a plus

Experience: 8 yrs combined sales, marketing and/or product management.
