Job DescriptionWhat we expect of you day-to-day
Lead or support workstreams on projects related to Visa’s overarching strategy in Europe and its sub-regionsWork with cross-functional and regional management teams on strategic projects, to structure and solve business problems to make recommendations on a wide range of business issuesDevelop rigorous, fact based, quantitative analysis to support recommendations. Ensure strategic and financial soundness and alignment for any recommendationsCommunicate recommendations to senior management, other executive, functional, or regional staff and management in a clear, concise and impactful waySelf-starter, team oriented, collaborative, with ability to participate in complex cross-enterprise projects and processes with multiple stakeholders at all levelsCommitment to continuous training and support the Strategy Team’s practice management (e.g. data sources, attending industry conferences, planning team offsites and events, etc.)Key competencies
Apply problem solving approaches to assigned tasks with limited supervisionIndependently build strong, visually compelling and concise slides and memos. Communicate complex data and analyses in a visually compelling mannerLead meetings / informational interviews and build consensus with cross-functional stakeholders with project team backup. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
QualificationsTypically requires 2-4 years total experience including time spent in a strategy consulting or corporate strategy roleBachelor’s degree in a relevant field – advance degree preferredPayments experience a plus, not requiredKnowledge of a major European language a plusAdditional InformationVisa is an EEO Employer.
