Work where you matter.** **A Brief Overview** Responsible for managing the day to day operations of the department, including assisting with oversight of the daily operations of Mobile Mammography. Collaborates with other clinics and quality initiatives to improve inter and intra-departmental and program efficiencies, outcomes and performance standards. Participates in the strategic planning for the department. Responsible for quality management and performance improvement programming for the department. Collaborates with the oncology and radiology service lines to assist with comprehensive breast health program initiatives. **What you will do** + Manages the day to day operations of staff in the departments assigned and collaborates to ensure adequate staffing for all assigned departments. + Implements, maintains and updates mammography training curriculum content and material as needed. + Assists and supports the physicians through problem solving as issues arise and responds to and addresses patient concerns. + Ensures policies and procedures are updated, implemented and monitored for compliance and provides supportive data, audits and management of quality program to improve and maintain the breast health quality services. + Conducts staff meetings to ensure efficient departmental operations, compliance and high staff and patient satisfaction. + Assists with planning, implementation and evaluation of community and patient breast education, marketing/promotional materials. + Responsible for quality management and performance improvement programming. + Monitors and works to meet local, state, federal accreditations, regulations and national quality standards for breast health centers in collaboration with the Breast Health Quality Control Technologists, radiologists, and oncology and radiology service line initiatives. + Assists in preparing the departmental annual budget and on-going management to assure that budgeted objectives are achieved. + Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, developing, training, and retaining employees; planning, assigning, and leading work; appraising performance; rewarding and coaching employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. **Essential Qualifications** The individual must be able to work the hours specified.
