Responsible for designing and implementing advanced Tableau solutions for enterprise-level analytics and reporting needs. This role involves defining and establishing Tableau architecture, setting best practices, and guiding a team of developers and analysts. The role involves working closely with business stakeholders to ensure data is accurately modeled, visualized, and aligned with business objectives. The position also requires strong experience in optimizing data flows, ensuring security, and providing technical leadership.
Job Responsibilities- Architectural Design: Design scalable and robust Tableau architectures that integrate seamlessly with enterprise data systems and meet organizational requirements.
- Dashboard & Report Design: Oversee and guide the development of advanced, high-performance Tableau dashboards and visualizations for various stakeholders.
- Data Integration: Collaborate with data engineering teams to design data pipelines and ensure smooth data integration from multiple sources (SQL databases, data lakes, cloud services).
- Security and Governance: Establish and enforce data security protocols and governance policies, ensuring that data access is appropriately managed and audited.
- Performance Optimization: Ensure the performance and scalability of Tableau dashboards and data sources, resolving bottlenecks and improving load times.
- Best Practices & Standards: Develop and enforce Tableau development best practices, including design standards, data visualization techniques, and documentation.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Work with business leaders and analysts to understand data needs and translate those into technical solutions using Tableau.
- Training and Mentorship: Mentor and coach Tableau developers and analysts, helping them grow their technical and visualization skills.
- Innovation: Stay updated on the latest features of Tableau and BI trends, continuously proposing innovative solutions and improvements.
- Project Management: Lead Tableau-related projects, ensuring timelines, quality standards, and deliverables are met while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Logical Thinking – Able to think analytically, use a systematic and logical approach to analyze data, problems, and situations. Must be able to guide team members in analysis.
- Handle Client Relationship – Manage client relationship and client expectations independently. Should be able to deliver results back to the Client independently. Should have excellent communication skills.
Education BE/B.TechMaster of Computer ApplicationWork Experience- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Pharma domain.
- 10+ years of experience in BI and data visualization, with at least 5 years of extensive experience in Tableau.
- Tableau certification (Tableau Desktop Certified Professional, Tableau Server Certified Professional) is highly preferred.
- Proven experience in designing Tableau architectures and deploying enterprise-level Tableau solutions.
- Strong experience working with large datasets, cloud-based data lakes, and databases (Redshift, SQL Server, Oracle, etc.).
- Experience in optimizing Tableau Server performance and managing a Tableau environment in a multi-user setup.
- Previous experience in leading a team of Tableau developers or BI professionals is preferred.
