The Architectural Project Manager position is responsible for development, coordination and execution of architectural functions related to: Prototype Development, New Stores, Remodels, CAPEX Projects, Non-Retail/Corp Facilities, and other special duties as assigned.
A Day in the Life
Develop and maintain effective cross-functional working relationships with internal & external clients/partners. Manage individuals within the team and mentor and coordinate the work of team members within Store Innovation, Design & Construction throughout the documentation process. Manage and ensure Landlord Architect and design team execute accurate construction drawings per Burlington prototype and specific lease agreements. Manage the production and delivery of full sets of CDs (construction drawings & specifications) of external partners. Facilitate the construction document review and tracking process. Organize and lead meetings involving internal & external clients/partners related to architectural development. Evaluate qualifications and job performance of Architectural, Engineering and Design consultants. Coordinate the proposal and selection process for same. Develop and maintain KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and deliver year/year performance improvement. Ensure clear and timely communication with internal and external clients/partners regarding document review, coordination issues, RFIs, ASRs, etc.
You Will Come With
Bachelor’s degree in architecture, Construction Management, or a related field or equivalent work experienceSoftware requirements: Photoshop, SketchupIt would also be nice to have AUTOCAD, V-Ray and/or other design/rendering softwareStrong skills with MS office, and Adobe Suites, Bluebeam experience a plusExperience working with project tracking toolsAbility to travel 25% (approx. 1 to 2 weeks per month at times)
