**Job Description**
**Overview:**
In this role the Manager (FPGA, Actuation Systems) actively participate in NPI, redesign and sustenance activities of FPGA development and Verification. Manage, Lead and Motive a team of ~10 Engineers.
**Position: Manager (M4)**
**Primary Responsibilities:**
+ Manages, develops, and motives a team of FPGA engineers to deliver engineering solutions.
+ Develops and Maintains strategic partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers and direct reports.
+ Hands on experience in FPGA Development / VHDL coding / Verification
+ Advanced skills in various programming languages such as System Verilog/UVM, PERL or any scripting language.
+ Protocols – PCIe, SPI, ARINC 429, Mil 1553, Image processing.
+ Industry experience in development, integration & verification of ASIC/FPGA.
+ Hands on experience with Questa or Modelsim or similar advanced simulation tools.
+ Experience in performance discussions, giving and receiving feedback, Taking necessary action on feedback.
+ Performs project Planning, develops and administers budget, schedules and performance standards.
+ Analyses hiring requirements, metrics and trends to influence team strategy and performance
+ Develops and executes project and process plans
+ Leads departmental initiatives to enhance organization process improvements
+ Experience in Managing project technical risks and developing mitigation plan
+ Ability to understand Employee and Client needs
+ Able to perform Competency Assessment and Leadership development Review
+ Good knowledge in FPGA development lifecycle and Standards
**Basic Qualifications:**
+ 10 to 14 years of Industry experience with experience in FPGA Development and Verification activities
+ BE/B-tech/MTech in Electronics
+ Solid communication, writing skills and teaming skills are a must.
