Key Responsibilities:

The Manager – Inventory Management is responsible for the oversight of the strategic efficiency and tactical execution of United Airlines’ aircraft spare parts inventory. The Manager will make strategic adjustments to station inventory levels to support the operation. The Manager will complete high value purchase orders and ensure budget adherence. They will handle and coordinate the accomplishment of tactical inventory execution.

Improves operational reliability by minimizing aircraft out of service events, delays, and cancellations related to the unavailability of spare aircraft partsDevelops tactical and strategic plans for Rotable and Expendable inventoryDemonstrates analytical dashboards and automated tools to drive effective decision makingMakes daily strategic adjustments to station inventory levels for Rotable and Expendable inventory assets to support the operationEnsures Allocation/ROP assignments are supervised and adjusted, in support of service level goalsAccountable for ensuring material is available and transparent throughout the systemMonitors, analyzes, and reports on performance against planDrives continuous improvement through the detailed use of tools and techniquesAnalyzes and establishes system protection levels that support operations at the least total cost
