Job overview and responsibilitiesResponsible to measure, analyze, and manage supplier performance to cut costs, reduce risk to the operation, and drive continuous improvementServes as primary UAL point of contact with Digital Technology suppliersResolves problems related to supplier administration for all stakeholdersContinuously monitors supplier performance with respect to contractual metricsLeads long-term strategic decisions in conjunction with United stakeholders, including cost-savings initiatives, requests for proposal (RFP), contract negotiations, data integration, and supplier transitionsEnsure compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry standardsFacilitate and coordinate investigations, reviews, integrated planning and ancillary conversations
