Should have 12+ years of relevant IT experience with more than 5+ years of relevant experience as a
techno functional SME in Salesforce Marketing Cloud
Extensive background as a Martech SME, showcasing a proven track record of leading global, large-scale
Marketing Automation initiatives. Demonstrates robust expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Data
Cloud (CDP), Account Engagement, Personalization and Engagement and Marketing Intelligence
Familiarity with tools that seamlessly integrate with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including Datorama,
Google Analytics, Data Cloud (CDP), Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Commerce Cloud and more.
Exhibits excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication, presentation, written communication
abilities and attention to detail. Can effectively collaborate within a fast-paced and diverse team while
operating within a matrix organizational structure.
Responsibilities
Spearhead and lead the Marketing Cloud related discussions with new customers and leverage existing
customer relationships for additional business opportunities and perform scoping assessments to
determine feasibility of projects and create and lead solution designs for customers. Take on independent
responsibility for supporting sales opportunities and business development efforts to generate Martech
revenue.
Responsible for overseeing client engagements and ensuring the overall health and success of these
engagements.
Engage actively in global/regional workshops for requirement gathering, conduct peer reviews, and
provide approval for functional specifications and user stories. Additionally, prioritize the consideration of
the overall user experience during the design and implementation of new solutions and services.
Collaborate with Project Managers and the Operations Team to plan deployments effectively.
Take responsibility for documenting deployments, managing deployments between development
environments, and validating productive orgs. Conduct end-to-end testing as part of the process.
Guarantee that implemented solutions adhere to specifications and are fit for their intended purpose.
Help develop and scale up the Salesforce Marketing Cloud CoE withing Salesforce competency by
attracting, nurturing and grooming talent. The SME will also play a pivotal role in crafting as well as
managing a skill building framework that will ensure that the employees are trained and proficient on the
latest technologies of Salesforce Marketing Cloud solutions.
