Establish time standards for existing and new productsCapacity Planning and Drive Capacity Enhancement (SMH Improvement) projectsArrive at plant capacity and identify bottlenecksOptimize process flow through layoutDrive MOST Study & ImplementationDrive Productivity Improvement with Kaizen blitz event managementManpower and Layout/Footprint planningImplement Kanban systemAutomation (LCA, Jidoka, Conveyorization)Drive Ergonomics ImprovementBudget Hours monitoringDepartment level monthly report preparation against each identified KPIsSetting SMH benchmark through MOST studiesProvide training to front level executives and shop employees on MOST and Basic Industrial EnggDrive Performance measurement of all lines through OEE, Output / personDevelop and maintain project plans and budget profiles to ensure delivery of milestones to agreed cost targets and timescalesResponsible for Line Capacity consolidation updates to CFTIdentify and justify capital equipment investmentAnalyse and improve material usageLegal and statutory inputs for CTE/CTO and maintain PED legatrix metricsCoordinate for Customer, statutory audits and take necessary action on PED BBS pointsCapacity and capability analysis and inputs to STRAP and SIOPCo-ordinate Systems & Audits for the departmentSpecial process Co-ordinatorEvaluation (risk assessment) of concessions involving the special processWabtec Corporation is committed to taking on the world’s toughest challenges.
