As a Manager in the Business Valuation team at Cushman & Wakefield, you will play a key role in helping clients make strategic business decisions. You will be responsible for reviewing/preparing valuation models and reports and presenting your findings to clients and key stakeholders. About the Role:
• Review / conduct industry research, comparable companies’ research and comparable transactions’ research to gather data for valuation models.
• Review / analyse the historical performance of companies.
• Interview CFOs and functional heads to gather insights on the financial performance of companies.
• Assess the reasonableness of financial projections by benchmarking against industry research reports and comparable companies’ research.
• Review / develop intricate valuation models, including sensitivity analysis, to assess the value of the companies.
• Review / prepare detailed valuation reports and presentations for clients.
• Assist in the preparation of proposals and pitch decks.
• Ensure the integrity and accuracy of data used in valuation analysis and reporting.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to optimize processes and enhance efficiency.
About You:
• Chartered Accountant (CA) or Master in Business Administration (MBA), or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification.
• Prior experience of four to five years working in Business Valuation. Experience in valuation for internal evaluation, financial reporting, purchase price allocation, tax purpose, private equity portfolio valuation will be preferred.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
• High attention to detail and the ability to manage large datasets effectively.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex data clearly and concisely.
• Prior experience in managing teams will be preferred.
