Manager: M&A Integration Job Description: The Manager: M&A Integration is responsible for managing the day-to-day integration activities of acquired businesses into Sage. They support the development and execution of the integration strategy, collaborating with functional workstreams to ensure alignment with the defined Target Operating Model. The Manager works closely with the Integration Management Office (IMO) to monitor progress, address issues, and ensure that integration milestones are met. They play a key role in identifying synergies, troubleshooting operational challenges, and providing feedback to the Integration Leadership Team to ensure a seamless transition and maximise value creation. Key Responsibilities: Summary of the Role As the M&A Integration Manager, you'll be at the forefront of bringing together acquired businesses and Sage, ensuring a seamless transition and delivery against the strategic rationale for the acquisition. You'll lead integration activities, coordinate across multiple workstreams, and ensure alignment with the acquisition's integration strategy. From tracking synergies to resolving issues, this role is about creating value while supporting effective collaboration across teams and stakeholders. What I Will Be Doing You’ll manage integration planning and execution, collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet key milestones and address challenges as they arise. This includes tracking value creation between Sage and acquired businesses, ensuring alignment with the Target Operating Model, and driving efficient communication across workstreams. You’ll also support change management efforts to help teams adopt new processes and operating models, while escalating significant issues to leadership when needed. Ultimately, you'll help ensure that strategic, operational, and cultural integrations are successful. What We Are Looking For We need someone with hands-on experience in M&A integrations and a strong grasp of project management principles. You’ll be adept at managing multiple workstreams at the same time, solving problems proactively, and engaging with senior stakeholders. Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills are key. The role sits within our Finance organisation but no experience of working in Finance is needed - this is not a typical Finance role! Certifications in project or change management are a plus, but above all, we’re looking for someone who can adapt to a fast-paced environment and deliver results collaboratively.
