Job Description
Responsibilities:
Manage teams of People across the full employee journey Manage Inventory process across multiple locations on site Ensure Cycle Counts and Stock Adjustments remain within target Manage and improve Stock and Flow Management Manage Auditing process across multiple locations on site Manage the Store Claims Budget and the Store Blacklisting process Manage the Purchasing Budget and Consumption of all Consumables on site Manage the TES Budget across the span of control Ensure effective Workforce Planning for every shift in relation to throughput targets Optimize and or Improve departmental and cross-functional Process Drive Performance Improvement, and Reduce Expenditure Ensure functional accuracy and output targets are met Build internal and external business partner relationships Report on Key Metrics and Set Objectives Ensure compliance to BOP and 6S standardQualifications and Experience:
A post-matric qualification in Warehouse Operations Management or Logistics Management is required At least 5 years’ experience in managing 1st level and or 2nd level managers required Solid MS Excel data manipulation and interpretation skills is required (will be tested) Experience in working with a Warehouse Management System is required (Manhattan WMS would be advantageous) Experience working with the MS Office 365 suite is essential, specifically Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word Business acumen and experience in analysing, interpreting and applying productivity dataSkills:
Strong communication skills (written and verbal) to ensure that the operation consistently delivers great customer service to the Retail Brands Strong people management skills to ensure a highly motivated workforce Sound accuracy and high attention to detail The ability to confidently influence and persuade at all levels to achieve results A strong service-orientation, high energy levels and a strong sense of urgency A natural aptitude for the management of business processes Ability to handle high pressure, stress and multi-taskingBehaviours:
