Role Purpose/Business Unit:

It's all about helping you get more out of a connected world!To lead and oversee the management insights and reporting function, budget control, statistical analysis, and strategic decision-making processes to enhance the regional commercial performance across Vodacom Business, Consumer, and Technology segments. This role must perform the management insights and reporting function, budget control, statistical analysis and provide insight and recommendations to improving the regional ‘s commercial performance.

Your responsibilities will include:

 

Reporting and Analysis:

Conduct comprehensive research to deliver insights, reporting and analysis of revenue, pricing, customer base management, market share, and channel performance across Business, Consumer, and Technology segments.Generate findings into actionable insights and recommendations to drive strategic initiatives and improve commercial performance in each functional area.

Cost Efficiency and Optimisation:

Benchmark regional cost and performance efficiencies against industry standards and best practices across Vodacom Business, Consumer, and Technology segments.Develop and implement cost reduction initiatives to optimise operational expenses while maintaining service quality and customer satisfaction in each functional area.To lead and oversee the management insights and reporting function, budget control, statistical analysis, and strategic decision-making processes to enhance the regional commercial performance across Vodacom Business, Consumer, and Technology segments. This role must perform the management insights and reporting function, budget control, statistical analysis and provide insight and recommendations to improving the regional ‘s commercial performance.

Business Case and CVM Modelling:

Develop financial models and business cases to support the realisation of strategic objectives across Vodacom Business, Consumer, and Technology segments.Analyse investment opportunities, assess risks, and forecast financial outcomes to inform decision-making processes in each functional area.Target Analysis and Alignment:Analyse performance targets and compare results with benchmarks set as the centre across Vodacom Business, Consumer, and Technology segments.Align seasonal trends with daily, weekly, and monthly run rate predictions to optimize resource allocation and operational efficiency in each functional area.

Risk Management and Compliance:

Identify and assess commercial risks related to market dynamics, regulatory changes, and operational activities.Develop risk mitigation strategies and internal controls to safeguard Regional Operation’s interests.Ensure compliance with Vodacom and industry regulatory standards governing regional operationsThe Ideal Candidate for this role will have:

 

Must have technical / professional qualifications: 

Matric / Grade 12 3 year financial or commercial diploma or degree (NQF 6 or higher) or SAQA accredited equivalent with 5 years relevant experience 8-10 years of working knowledge of financial principles, commercial management, and financial functions Experience in the telecommunications industry across Business, Consumer, and Technology segments is preferableA minimum of 2 years' experience at a management level, demonstrating leadership and decision-making capabilities.Proven track record of an advisory role using insights to drive results and achieving targets in a dynamic and competitive environment across Business, Consumer, and Technology segments.

 
 

Core competencies, knowledge, and experience: 

Big data management with proficiency in statistical analysis, financial modelling, and business case development across Business, Consumer, and Technology segments.Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to diverse stakeholders.Track record of working in cross functional teams
