Duties
Manage the application portfolio ensuring that quality standards are met, projects are completed according to timelines and financial resources are set and managed. Keep abreast of technological changes. Manage analytical and design input for changes. Manage the development of application changes. Manage system testing and implementation. Manage support calls to ensure user support and that high service levels are maintained. Support ongoing operations. Manage human capital through effective performance management and employee development and empowerment. Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology/Computer Science/information Systems. Post-graduate qualification in IT/Computer Science will be advantageous. Relevant industry certifications will be advantageous: Programming: e.g. CSS, HTML, SQL, EDI, C, SQL, Python IT Governance: e.g. COBIT, ITIL, TOGAF Minimum of 3 years' experience in people management. Minimum of 5 years practical experience in supporting large scale multi business applications. Computer literacy in Ms Office package. Knowledge of all legislation pertaining to the company. Knowledge and experience in financial planning and forecasting. Knowledge and understanding of Public Financial Management Act. Knowledge of corporate governance principles. Knowledge of enterprise risk management concepts, frameworks, and methodology. Knowledge of legislative compliance. Practical knowledge and understanding of performance management systems development and implementation.
