Who you are:

An experienced and strategic Manager, Supply Chain Programs to lead and optimize key support functions within the supply chain and logistics operations. This role will focus on overseeing inventory management, vendor-managed inventory (VMI), and special projects, while driving the development and implementation of new workflows and processes. As a people leader, you will lead a team of project managers focused on specific areas within the supply chain, ensuring effective execution of programs that enhance operational efficiency. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams, including utilities, procurement, quality, and others, to ensure the successful rollout of new processes and controls, ensuring consistency, scalability, and risk mitigation.

What You Will Do - Other duties may be assigned. 

Team Leadership and Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of project managers who focus on inventory management, VMI, and special projects. Ensure alignment with program objectives and provide coaching, support, and professional development opportunities to build a high-performing team.Process and Workflow Development: Lead the development and implementation of new workflows and processes across inventory management, VMI, and supply chain functions. Work with your team and cross-functional partners to build robust processes and controls that align with company standards and ensure scalability and efficiency.Inventory Management: Oversee inventory management strategies, including stock levels, replenishment, and inventory accuracy. Ensure processes and controls are in place to optimize inventory flow, reduce costs, and meet customer demand.Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI): Lead VMI programs, working with suppliers to maintain optimal inventory levels and ensure a seamless flow of goods. Develop and implement processes that improve VMI accuracy, reduce stockouts, and drive greater vendor collaboration.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with teams in utilities, procurement, quality, and other departments to ensure that new processes and workflows are integrated effectively across the organization. Partner with procurement to align inventory levels with purchasing, collaborate with utilities to ensure resource optimization, and engage quality teams to maintain compliance with product standards and regulations.Special Projects Management: Lead special supply chain and logistics projects, ensuring that new workflows, systems, or initiatives are delivered on time and within scope. Implement controls to monitor project progress and mitigate risks.Reporting and Analysis: Create and manage reports, dashboards, and KPIs related to inventory, VMI, and program performance. Use data to track process effectiveness, provide insights, and recommend continuous improvement initiatives.Process Optimization and Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline processes, remove bottlenecks, and implement best practices across inventory and VMI management. Drive the adoption of continuous improvement methodologies to ensure operational efficiency and minimize waste.Risk Management and Compliance: Ensure all workflows, processes, and systems comply with industry standards, internal policies, and regulatory requirements. Develop and enforce controls around new workflows to manage risks and ensure smooth execution.Vendor and Supplier Relations: Oversee relationships with suppliers and vendors, ensuring VMI programs are executed effectively and on schedule. Work to resolve any supply chain issues and ensure suppliers align with inventory management goals and timelines.Budget and Cost Management: Manage budgets for supply chain programs, ensuring inventory-related functions and special projects remain within budget while maximizing cost efficiency.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS 

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management, logistics, or inventory management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.Proven experience in managing project managers within supply chain programs, such as inventory management, VMI, and process optimization projects.Experience in developing and implementing new workflows and processes, with a strong focus on building controls and ensuring scalability.Expertise in inventory management, vendor-managed inventory (VMI), and project management.Strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including utilities, procurement, quality, and other departments, to implement and optimize new processes.Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to use data to drive decision-making and process improvements.Familiarity with supply chain software, inventory management tools, and project management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 

Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.Certification in Supply Chain Management (e.g., APICS, ISM) or Project Management (e.g., PMP).Experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) and building scalable controls around workflows.Knowledge of VMI systems and best practices for managing supplier relationships.Strong understanding of risk management and compliance regulations in supply chain operations.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment, adapting to changing priorities and deadlines.Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
