Job DescriptionMotivated individual to work with the Space Planning Team structured to maintain and support occupancy related activities which are managed using Archibus and AutoCAD software. The Team is an integral part of the Corporate Facilities department at NBCUniversal. The services the Space Planning Team performs include: occupant tracking, reporting and analyses of space, modeling move/restack simulations for efficiency, and employee statistics. It also monitors adherence to space standards at NBCUniversal’s Rockefeller Center Operations properties.
Responsibilities:
Support the Space Planning team’s mission to maintain an up-to-date space and occupancy databaseMonitor space moves / adds / changes to ensure proper space allocation and adherence to space standardsReview floor plans and other internal documents (e-mails, space requests, termination reports, etc.) to ensure all current data is reflected in ArchibusResolve data inconsistencies by contacting appropriate individuals (requestors, HR, Finance, Client Service Leaders, etc.) to resolve issuesMaintain up-to-date space labeling and status / availabilityPerform floor surveys to verify personnel and architectural changes as requiredMonitor departmental move log and ensure move updates are implemented on a timely basisPerform periodic space walkthroughs and data audits based on the criteria developed by the Space Planning Department to ensure data integrity and verify personnel and architectural changes as requiredMonitor adherence to space tracking policies and proceduresMaintain data that will be used to report key space and occupancy metrics to senior managementIdentify enhancement opportunities in Space Management Application and/or Current Working Procedures to increase data accuracy, enhance reporting goals, and increase productivity Collaborate with Director of Space Planning to develop and maintain master plan documentsQualificationsQualifications/Requirements:
Minimum 5 years experience in space related data and space planning concepts.Minimum 2 years hands-on experience with ArchibusExperience with other CAFM software products a plusStrong Microsoft Office Suite skills (Excel, Power Point, Word and Access), and Adobe Acrobat.Ability to work in a team environmentExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenAdditional Information:
