Job Description

We’re looking for an Engineering Manager to join Procore’s Product & Technology Team. Procore software solutions aim to improve the lives of everyone in construction and the people within Product & Technology are the driving force behind our innovative, top-rated global platform. We’re a customer-centric group that encompasses engineering, product, product design and data, security and business systems. 

 

As an Engineering Manager, you will be primarily responsible for establishing the strategic technical direction, leading product experience and actively driving the execution of the strategy across many Procore’s product areas.This is a great opportunity to use your leadership, interpersonal, and organizational skills to build highly effective systems and practices, foster collaborative relationships, and measure value delivered to our customers.

 

This position reports to the Sr Director of Mobile Engineering with the opportunity to be located in the Bangalore, India office. We’re looking for someone to join our team immediately.

 

What you’ll do:

Drive innovation and change to accommodate customer needs for ProcoreProvide technical leadership and work cross-functionally with product and UX to build roadmaps and execution plansEvaluate emerging mobile technologies, drive innovation and invest in sustainable product development to increase adoptionCollaborate with leadership to set short term and long term goals and strategies and contribute to architecture designCollaborate with VPs, Directors, and stakeholders to understand strategic objectives and align technology solutions to business goals for Mobile customers

 

What we’re looking for:

7+ years total experience as a Software Engineer2+ years experience managing teams of varying sizes and timezonesBS or MS degree in Computer Science, related discipline, or equivalent experience is preferredExperience in leading in Ambiguity and bringing clarity to lead effectivelyAbility to lead large initiatives and evaluate current technical and organizational approachesReady to get hands dirty to solve complex problemsPassionate about mobile technology, tooling, industry trends, and best practices in Platform and Infrastructure
