About the role:

As the Supervisor of Software Development, you will lead the governance of the WNEXUS Software Suite, consistent with the strategic vision of internal and external clients. You will focus on efforts not limited to staffing to guide the platform, providing guidance and learning opportunities, guarantee mentoring and skills development, and provide support for Project Engineering.

You will report to the Director of Design Automation & Configuration in a hybrid scenario based at Westinghouse Global Headquarters in Cranberry Woods, PA. You will be asked to travel.

Responsibilities:

Lead the governance of the WNEXUS Software Suite, consistent with the strategic vision of internal and external clients

Staff individuals to develop and guide the WNEXUS platform

Provide guidance and learning opportunities for software developers reporting to the Supervisor

Work w/ the Software Architect to guarantee mentoring and skill development program is in place and active

Work with Project Manager to ensure appropriate assignment of tasks to developers and product engineers

Support the Product Engineer in overall guidance and connection of the applications to each other and outside tools (CAD, Other data sources)

Manage overall development prioritization following changing requests throughout the year.

Guide product owners to implement the program vision for the WNEXUS Software Suite of Applications

Work with the Product Engineer and Software Architect to standardize the software lifecycle process in Global Engineering Services

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Mechanical, Civil or Electrical Engineering or related degree

10+ years of experience

5+ years software development environment(s)

2+ years leading teams for software development

Knowledge in Software Development tools/languages like Java, C#, HTML, CSS, Agile, or Scrum
