Position Overview:

We are seeking a Social Media Manager to lead our social media strategy and elevate our online presence. You will be the driving force behind our brand’s voice and narrative, crafting compelling content that resonates with our audience and builds a loyal community.

Responsibilities:

Create engaging short-form video content for both organic and paid media, specifically for TikTok and Instagram Craft compelling content and copywriting across various platforms Manage daily content publishing on Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms contributing to content ideation, creation, and trend adaptation Drive audience growth and engagement across social media, ensuring our brand consistently achieves goals and moves audiences through the funnel. Oversee daily communications, timelines, and deliverables with creative teams and external partners Collaborate closely with the marketing team and external partners to ensure alignment of visual output and messaging and brainstorm innovative ideas that resonate with our audience Collaborate with influencers, creators, and brand partners to amplify our message and reach. Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies that enhance brand awareness, promote consumer engagement, and foster loyalty including content calendars, campaign goals, and platform-specific tactics.   Community management: Actively engage with followers by responding to comments, direct messages, and mentions, fostering a positive online community.  Analytics monitoring: Track key metrics like impressions, engagement, reach, and conversions to evaluate performance and make data-driven adjustments. 

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field. 5+ years in Social Media Marketing or equivalent experience, preferrable in beauty. Must have strong skills in photography, videography, and editing, with an emphasis on high-quality visuals Ability to use visuals to tell stories and evoke emotions through content. Must be comfortable in a fast-paced business environment, be a driven contributor and work effectively and collaboratively with team members. Ability to use visuals to tell stories and evoke emotions through content. A keen understanding of internet culture, pop culture, and visual trends Exceptional taste and meticulous attention to detail in your work. Thorough knowledge of beauty, fashion and lifestyle video landscape and social media at large Strong communication skills, able to translate creative direction into engaging, social-first ideas. Expertise in frame composition and proficiency with studio tools and techniques.

The base pay range for this position is $100,000 and $125,000/year; however base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and geographic location. Certain positions may also be eligible for short-term incentives as part of total compensation.

This role is eligible for an annual bonus based on company performance.

Employees are covered by the company-paid basic life insurance policy and company-paid short-term disability insurance (the benefit commences upon hire and allows for a portion of base salary for up to 26 weeks if you are disabled). Other benefits offered to employees include but are not limited to the following: long-term disability, supplemental life insurances, flexible spending accounts, critical illness insurance, group legal, identity theft protection, etc. Employees are also able to enroll in our 401k Retirement Savings Plan.

Employees will also receive 3 weeks of vacation, pro-rated based on date of hire for the 1st year of employment and twelve paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Vacation will depend on role.
