_This position follows our hybrid-friendly schedule, so you get the best of both worlds – flexibility and collaboration. In office days will be 2-3 per week averaging 10-12 days per month._
**Job Summary:**
Raymond James is seeking a Manager with a strong background in ServiceNow Architecture and Configuration Management. This is a highly visible role within the Technology organization. In this role, you will have extensive contact with all management levels and other internal customers and will be required to identify, research, analyze and resolve complex information technology issues. An in-depth knowledge of ITIL processes, software audits, people management skills and ability to work closely with business partners are key skills needed to be successful in this role.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Lead a team of specialized analysts, architects and discovery engineers and be responsible for growing the team, maturing processes, adhering to service level objectives and agreements, project management activities, and resource management.
+ Lead the development and implementation of strategy for an important area of responsibility within a function, anticipating complex issues, challenges, and opportunities and ensuring integration with wider functional strategy.
+ Create/manage architecture storyboards/viewpoints that articulate business requirements.
+ Drive advances in technologies and architectures to increase the value delivered by technology and digital capabilities, either through improvements to the efficiency of the technology environment or through those that reduce the total cost of technology operations. Recommend and participate in activities related to the design, development, and maintenance of the digital capabilities within the enterprise architecture.
+ Explore and develop a detailed understanding of external developments or emerging issues and evaluate their potential impact on, or usefulness to, the organization.
+ Develop and/or deliver budget plans with guidance from senior colleagues.
+ Communicate the actions needed to implement the function's strategy and business plan within the team; explain the relationship to the broader organization's mission, vision, and values; motivate people to commit to these and to do extraordinary things to achieve local business goals.
+ Use the organization's formal development framework to identify the team's individual development needs. Plan and implement actions, including continuing professional development specified by professional or regulatory institutions, to build their professional capabilities. Provide informal training or coaching to others throughout the organization in own area of expertise to enable others to improve performance and fulfill personal potential.
+ Manage and report on the performance of a substantial, diverse team; set appropriate performance objectives for direct reports or project/account team members and hold individuals accountable for achieving them; take appropriate corrective action where necessary to ensure the achievement of team/personal objectives.
+ Participate in the selection of external consultants or advisers to deliver key projects and/or ad hoc services; ensure that business objectives and requirements are clearly understood and monitor outcomes, taking appropriate remedial action where necessary.
**Skills:**
+ Deep knowledge of the ServiceNow, experience with platform design and system architecture
+ Set organizational standards for ServiceNow infrastructure and governance
+ Manage a team of architects and configuration engineers
+ Strong ITIL background with hands-on experience in IT Asset Management and Configuration Management.
+ Prior experience managing a team is required.
+ Experience with ServiceNow platform is preferred.
+ Financial Services experience highly preferred.

**Education**
Bachelor’s: Computer and Information Science, Bachelor’s: Data Science, Bachelor’s: Information Technology
