Overview of Our Group: 
Team provides global frontline support to dealers, customers, industries and various internal business partners for most activities related to forecasting and order to cash cycle.  The Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) team provides Demand and Supply Planning tools and processes. Provides leadership in consolidating and communicating demand plan information to support the development of an executable build plan.  The team works in collaboration with many areas within Caterpillar optimizing processes to support our dealers and customers.

What You Will Do:

Support Energy & Transportation facilities and industries as a business partner in Demand Planning processes.  You will help optimize the forecast and facility production. Examples include, but are not limited to:

Provide business tools to create monthly request for product (RFP)Support annual business plan and long-term forecast processesImplement, enhance, and support demand planning visualizations and dashboardsManage collection and reporting of backlog information for managementProvide excellent customer service to E&T Industries to assist running their business.

What Skills You Will Need:

Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.Consulting: Knowledge of techniques, roles, and responsibilities in providing technical or business guidance to clients, both internal and external; ability to apply consulting knowledge appropriately.Analytical Approach: Understanding of the value of accurately analyzing the current environment and ability to synthesize ideas and information required for process improvement into a manageable form.Financial Forecasting and Modeling: Knowledge of processes, tools and techniques of financial forecasting and modeling; ability to explore and evaluate alternative financial scenarios and results.Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.

Top Candidates Will Have:

8+ years of Supply Chain, Demand Management, Commercial, Accounting, or related experienceData analytics experience, including with tools like Power BI, Snowflake, etcBachelor’s Degree within Supply Chain, Demand Management, Accounting, Finance, Data Analytics, or related field

Additional Information:

This position is currently a hybrid in-office work model, requiring 3-day weekly office presence onsite at our Mossville, IL office and remote work for the remaining days.  However, work arrangements may be adjusted at any time based on business needs.Domestic relocation assistance is available for those who qualifySponsorship is not availableTravel up to 5%

Summary Pay Range:

$144,960.00 - $217,320.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
