The mission of the Amazon gift card team is to inspire people around the globe to gift or transact with confidence. We own global products and features that aim to delight customers during the gifting experience. Our products are designed to drive incremental sales for Amazon by introducing new customers to our store and incentivizing existing customers to return to the Earth’s most customer-centric company. Customers access our products through various channels including global Amazon websites, Brick & Mortar retail stores, and direct integration with our Business to Business (B2B) portal.
We are looking for an experienced Program Manager with technical acumen to join our growing Corporate Gift Card business. In this role, you will lead a team of Salesforce Admins & Developers and API Integration specialists that serve as key partners for engaging with the business to resolve urgent customer issues, execute on key strategic projects, and optimize the customer gift card ordering experience. You will define and deliver the roadmap for the sales enablement support required to transform the B2B sales process for our worldwide corporate clients and distribution partners.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about their work, self-motivated, detail oriented, and have excellent problem-solving skills. They will have strong communication and project-management skills, experience managing a team, and will be able to translate technical problems, root cause and solutions in a clear and easy-to-understand way for business stakeholders. They will act as a bridge between the business and technical teams dealing with highly ambiguous problems, taking full control and responsibility for finding simple solutions to complex problems.
Key job responsibilities
• Developing and owning the roadmap for the transformation of the Sales Enablement function for Amazon Gift Cards across Brick & Mortar and B2B channels.
• Define and improve strategies for how to optimize Salesforce usage for the Gift Card business.
• Engage customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to determine business requirements, technical considerations, and strategic objectives.
• Recommend new product features, workflows, and ideas to influence Salesforce platform adoption and utilization.
• Develop a team of Salesforce Admins & Developers, API specialists, and Program Managers to continue delivering value to our customers.
• Optimize processes, solve technical issues, invent creative solutions, data cleanliness, and ensure data accuracy across the Salesforce system.
A day in the life
This role will be a split between managing how we currently support the growth of Gift Cards in our Brick and Mortar and B2B channels and developing the vision for transforming our existing processes to converge with Amazon wide systems. You will lead a global team and will face off with cross functional partners (tech, product, business) across all levels and regions.
About the team
Amazon’s B2B and Brick & Mortar Gift Card business is rapidly growing and significantly contributes to Amazon’s profitability. We manage a large set of corporate customers globally. We own the sales enablement roadmap globally, working closely with a team of Salesforce administrators and engineers and dozens of internal stakeholders across business, operations, marketing, sales, product and engineering.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
- Experience as a manager
- Experience owning technology products
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience using Salesforce (or other CRM tool) or BI tools
- Experience presenting to senior leadership
- World class sense of humor

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
