As the Manager of Reporting & Insights, you will be responsible for generating insights about campaign performance across key business categories. You’ll support both internal and external partners by leveraging campaign results and first-party data to create actionable insights for vendor-funded advertising campaigns. You will also play a key role in the training and development of Analysts on the R&I team who will report directly to you.

This role is hybrid, which means you will be required to work some days on-site at the Best Buy location listed on this posting and some days virtually from home or other non-Best Buy location. What you’ll doProactively and autonomously lead and drive reporting and insights deliverables for your assigned categories, while contributing to other strategic team initiatives as needed.Collaborate with cross-functional partners to leverage campaign insights and analysis to help craft sales proposals, develop data-driven media plans, optimize campaigns, and inform future strategies.Serve as the primary contact for campaign reporting and insights for both internal and external partners, helping them interpret performance data and activate based on insights.Analyze large datasets to identify root causes of performance trends and outcomes.Utilize your SQL code proficiency to query internal databases for ad hoc reporting. Coach, train, and develop Lead Analysts reporting to you, fostering a collaborative and results-driven team environment. Basic qualifications3+ years of experience in analytics, insights, measurement, and/or reporting, or other relevant experienceAdvanced experience with Microsoft Office tools, specifically Excel (advanced formulas & pivot tables) and PowerPoint (data visualizations and storytelling)1+ years writing and running basic SQL commandsPreferred qualificationsBachelor’s degree in a related fieldExcellent communication skills, written and verbal, with the ability to express complex ideas clearly to various audiencesAbility to work autonomously in a fast-paced, ambiguous environmentProficiency with advanced analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Adobe Experience Cloud, Google Cloud Platform)Client Relationship Management and presentation skills, particularly with multi-million dollar budgetsExperience with marketing measurement and analytics methods, including Media Mix Modeling, Multi-Touch Attribution, and In-market TestingUnderstanding of ad-serving platforms (e.g., Google Ad Manager, Campaign Manager, SA360, DV360) and cross-channel ad-serving dynamicsWhat’s in it for you
