We explore opportunities and develop projects that will enhance reliability, improve system performance and increase access to more diverse generation sources for customers across the country. **About The Position** The Manager, Reliability Standards Compliance holds overall responsibility for program leadership to meet applicable reliability standards compliance requirements (NERC, SERC, etc.). This position is responsible for the identification and monitoring of reliability requirements and the development of processes and procedures to ensure Ameren meets or exceeds all requirements. **Key responsibilities include:** + Develops and leads a team of direct reports to ensure compliance with all relevant reliability standards. + Develops and leads a reliability standards compliance program, including tracking, planning, and facilitating all related activities and coordinating with Ameren Corporation's Reliability Standards Compliance Department. + Works closely with and assists all subject matter experts (SMEs) who own the responsibility for compliance with particular standards in drafting/modifying procedures. + Proactively identifies, continuously monitors, and manages the implementation of all relevant reliability requirements affecting Ameren's assets and operations, and ensures policies and procedures are developed and implemented to meet or exceed the identified requirements. + Serves as main point of contact to Ameren's Reliability Standards Compliance Department and coordinates efforts among Ameren's work functions to meet all applicable requirements for compliance. + Takes leadership in Ameren's internal readiness audits for Ameren. Provides organization structure and tracks required data to be provided by the SMEs for audit evidence and completes self-certifications; ensures timely revision of documents and availability of evidence for regional audits, NERC readiness evaluations, and pre and post audit reports. + Develops and implements training programs to ensure understanding and compliance with policies and procedures; updates training material and deploys updated training to the company’s facilities. + Assists in developing policy positions and coordinates the advocacy of these positions internal to Ameren and with external audiences when necessary. + Provides Management with periodic updates related to internal or external reliability issues. Leads compliance professionals and provide employees with ongoing direction, coaching and feedback. + Provides coordination for Ameren Transmission's participation on NERC and SERC committees; provides framework to share knowledge and updates of committee activities to applicable personnel throughout the company. + Other duties as assigned **Qualifications:** Bachelor's Degree from an accredited College or University required; engineering degree or specialization in a business or technical discipline preferred. Seven or more years of relevant professional experience required. Five or more years of professional working experience directly related to compliance with electric reliability standards required. Experience that includes overall responsibility for managing and administrating a compliance program is preferred. Three or more years of supervisory or team/project leadership experience required. **In addition to the above qualifications, the successful candidate will demonstrate:** Results driven and highly organized with great attention to detail. Deadline and goal oriented; Demonstrates ability to lead and develop others. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of leadership and personnel across a multitude of technical disciplines. Critical thinking skills and the ability to make and defend risk-based judgments regarding the interpretation and application of requirements for compliance.
