About The Role
Reporting to the Head of Market Development, Personal Care Solutions (PCS) Asia Pacific, you will:
How You Will Do It
Develop regional Skin Care industry segment solutions and marketing activities with input from regional and local teams, while collecting market intelligence to identify new business opportunitiesShare market intelligence with PCS teams, including Product Management, local sales, and R&D, to inform product developmentInitiate, develop, and launch new product concepts based on market needs, and drive customer-specific marketing projects with Sales and Application Technology teamsEducate internal teams and external stakeholders on market trends and strategies through events and technical training sessionsCreate and implement communication plans for industry stakeholders, collaborating with the Communications team on advertisements, exhibitions, customer events, and promotional tools
What We Look For
Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Marketing related disciplinesMinimum 10 years of relevant experience in technical service, sales, marketing, preferably in the personal care or related markets or industries Ability to collaborate efficiently across diverse culture and work effectively within a virtual team environmentCapable of leading initiatives without direct authorityBASF has a rich history in Hong Kong, dating back to the 1880s when it began selling textile dyes in the region.
