We are looking for a Senior Manager, Quality Engineering to join our Cloud Services team in Bangalore, India, reporting to the senior manager of engineering based in Santa Clara, California. In this role, you will lead a team of QA engineers to ensure the highest quality of our cloud-based software products. You will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive test strategies, overseeing the execution of test plans, and collaborating closely with Development and Product teams to deliver robust and reliable software solutions. You will also manage the QA process for our cloud software products, including planning, coordinating, and executing testing activities. Additionally, you will work with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues and continuously improve our QA processes. 

You are the ideal candidate if you are a results-driven troubleshooter and collaborator who operates independently. 

What you’ll do:

Lead and manage a team of QA engineers to ensure high-quality software releasesDevelop and implement comprehensive test strategies, plans, and processes for SaaS environments Collaborate with Development and Product teams to identify and resolve issues and ensure adherence to QA processes and best practicesWork closely with Development, Product Management, and other stakeholders to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycleEvaluate and select appropriate testing tools and frameworksCreate and maintain detailed test documentation and reportsConduct regular code reviews and provide feedback to team membersMonitor and analyze test results to identify trends and areas for improvementBuild and maintain automated test suites for continuous integrationEnsure timely delivery of high-quality software products

What you’ll bring:

Proven experience in leading QA teams and managing QA processesMinimum of 15 years of experience in software quality assuranceSolid technical skills in automated testing tools and frameworks, such as pytest and JUnitExcellent understanding of various cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and othersExperience in microservices development with containerization and orchestration technologies, such as Docker and KubernetesExperience with both black-box and white-box testingExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsGood knowledge of Networking on Cloud platforms, preferably on DNS, DHCP, or IPAMSelf-starter with the ability to handle competing priorities and work under pressureBachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferredKnowledge of Agile methodologies and practices
