The QA Manager is a management position that works to meet coaching and leadership needs for their QA Engineers and the department. A QA Manager works with many development teams and learns complex systems quickly. This position must constantly assess and meet unique and changing needs of their QA Engineers as well as the entire organization. This position uses excellent technical and interpersonal skills to define, teach, and implement effective industry practices. Managers help guide the visions of individuals, teams, and department to align with the organization's objectives.
The QA Manager ensures that effective testing validates every code commit to support the organization's Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery model. The manager ensures that all aspects of Quality Assurance are appropriately considered and implemented for the organization. This position focuses on recruiting, training, and retaining high caliber engineers and managers that meet the organization's needs.
The individual works with divine guidance to provide or support technology that furthers the mission of the Church and reflects the eternal impact of the gospel.
