A Day in Your Life at MKS:
We are seeking a Manager, Project Engineering who will lead the management and execution of cross-functional projects through the product development process, including developing project goals that support the business unit objectives and developing and executing strategies and plans to meet the goals.
This is a hybrid opportunity with an average of 3 days per week working on-site in our Irvine, CA office, and 2 days per week working remotely.
You Will Make an Impact By:
+ Delivering strategic semiconductor capital equipment product development programs/projects against scope, schedule, cost, resources, and quality
+ Implementing standard PM methodology, processes, practices, governance, and escalation
+ Utilizing and leveraging the corporate PDP program management system to provide program visibility and transparency to management, internal and external stakeholders, and executives to enable data driven decision making
+ Creating and managing the project master schedule and plan throughout the product development process
+ Regularly reporting to internal and external customers on development and execution of program and project milestones deliverables throughout the product development process
Skills You Bring:
+ 10+ years of experience including technical/engineering project/program manager experience
+ Technical expertise in semiconductor capital equipment, system or modules new product development/new product introduction, laser or optics technology or equivalent. Technical degree required, experience with optics a plus.
+ Program / Project Management certification (PMI, IPMA, etc.) or equivalent, preferred
+ Demonstrated ability to lead diverse and global dispersed project teams and manage multidisciplinary tasks
+ Strong communication, influencing, and negotiation skills
+ Strong leader with ability to resolve conflicts and simultaneously team build
+ Ability to complete administrative details while maintaining larger vision of program
+ Entrepreneurial and creative approach to problem resolution, but process follower
+ Strong Project Controls skills including: Schedule management, Change management, Risk management, Budgeting and Cost control, Documentation and Document control
+ Desired, but not required: experience developing and implementing Program Management (PM) and Program Portfolio Management (PPM) solutions and systems to enhance the effectiveness of the Project Management Office (PMO).

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
+ Ability to travel domestically and internationally as necessary to support business goals. Travel estimated at an average of 10%

Compensation and Benefits:Salary Pay Range: $130,000 to $180,000 per year. This range is a good faith estimate of the expected salary range for this position, based on a wide range of factors including qualifications, experience and training, operational and business needs and other considerations permitted by law. At MKS, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role.
Bonus: This position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, in an amount to be determined by MKS [or as applicable].
