ABOUT THIS ROLE
As the Manager, Production Operations APAC, you’ll contribute to the seamless implementation and administration of Audible’s content production processes across the Asia-Pacific region, with a focus on our Japanese marketplace. In this Keiyaku Shain role, you’ll support day-to-day operations across our content production pipeline by acting as an implementation partner to our Production, Legal, Finance, Marketing, and Catalog Ops Teams, collaborating cross-functionally to ensure that all required production processes are completed and content delivered within deadlines. Additionally, you’ll work to align operations across APAC marketplaces and contribute to cross-functional initiatives pertaining to streamline production management and leverage data and insights to drive operational efficiency, reduce risk, and identify opportunities. Applying your keen understanding of local business needs and global best practices, you'll continuously work to improve our ways of working with a focus on data accuracy, transparency, and scalability. By sharing insights and best practices with the regional and global teams, you'll help drive continuous improvement locally during your time with Audible.

As the Manager, Production Operations APAC – 12 months Keiyaku Shain, you will...
- Coordinate with the Production team as well as cross-functional teams including business, legal, marketing and other operations teams to capture production requirements, monitor progress, communicate changes, and ensure all content releases on schedule in compliance with all requirements
- Input production management data and content metadata in key systems, monitor and maintain data integrity. Facilitate data access by relevant stakeholders, both internal and external
- Oversee the management of assets (including content audio, cover art, marketing assets, content metadata, etc.) from requests to final delivery and archival across the content creation process
- Facilitate onboarding third party vendors (including production studios, graphic designers, translators, QC providers, etc.) and partner with Producers to develop these relationships. Act as third-party vendors’ first point of contact regarding Audible’s production management tools and asset delivery procedures, providing guidance and troubleshooting issues
- Monitor and manage receipt of invoices from productions. Reconcile invoices against expected production costs, track payment milestones and ensure timely approval and payment. Act as third-party vendors’ first point of contact regarding invoice and payment, and collaborate with internal teams to resolve any issues
- Create, review and share reports to improve operations and inform business planning. Conduct ad hoc research and respond to inquiries and trouble tickets.
- Partner with APAC and global counterparts to align on best practices and drive process improvements
- Program manage the implementation of high-level initiatives including the consolidation of production operation processes across APAC, and support the roll-out of key content management tooling in APAC
