Manager, Procurement

This position will be part of the office’s internal Detroit Accounting Group, reporting to Procurement Manager and Finance leadership. Responsible for helping a growing organization manage its spending, largely in the SaaS space.

Principal Responsibilities: 

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure procurement requirements and needs are metEvaluating the quality, price, and applicability of SaaS and other subscription services with internal teamsRequisition entry for internal teams, tracking through to PO completion and distributionManaging vendor relationships including evaluating, onboarding and monitoring performanceNegotiating the commercial terms of contracts, in conjunction with legal, IT departmentsMaintaining accurate vendor information in our ERP systemsIdentifying cost reduction opportunitiesParticipating in special projects, continuous process improvements, and other duties, as assigned 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: 

Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field preferred.Industry experience in managing procurement for professional services including SaaS and data and IT-related services preferred.Knowledgeable regarding negotiation techniquesAbility to work with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Experience with Workday preferredAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills (e.g., XLOOKUP and Pivot Tables)Strong oral and written communication skillsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailFlexible with the ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlinesAble to handle complex and confidential information with discretion 

Stout is required by applicable state and local laws to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The range for this role considers several factors including but not limited to prior work and industry experience, education level, and unique skills. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
